The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has started the Round 1 choice filling process for NEET UG 2026 counselling. Candidates participating in the counselling process can enter and submit their preferred MBBS and BDS colleges and courses within the prescribed timeline.

As per the counselling schedule, the choice filling window will remain open until August 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Candidates should carefully consider their preferred colleges and courses before submitting their choices, as the choices entered during this stage will be considered for the Round 1 seat allotment process.

The choice locking facility will begin on August 12, 2026, at 4:00 PM. Candidates should ensure that they review their choices and complete the locking process within the specified schedule.

Candidates are advised to log in to the official MCC counselling portal using their registered credentials and complete the choice filling process before the deadline. Waiting until the last minute may result in difficulties due to heavy portal traffic or technical issues.
