The Directorate of Higher and Technical Education (DHTE), Puducherry, through the Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), has released the Round 1 Provisional Allotment List for UG Non-NEET Professional, Arts, Science and Commerce Courses for the academic year 2026-27. The allotment list was published on 14 August 2026 on the official CENTAC website.
According to the official notice, a total of 7,590 seats have been allotted in Round 1 based on the course preferences submitted by candidates. Of these, 3,112 candidates have been allotted seats in Engineering (B.Tech.) courses, while 2,902 candidates have been allotted seats in Arts and Science courses. The remaining seats have been allotted across other Professional and Vocational courses.
Candidates can check their Round 1 provisional allotment status using their dashboard login credentials. After checking the allotment, eligible candidates can download their Allotment Order through the CENTAC portal.
Candidates who have received an allotment are required to report to the Principal of the allotted college with their original certificates, required fee and allotment order.
Candidates can report to their allotted colleges from 14 August 2026 onwards. The last date for joining is 19 August 2026 up to 5:00 PM.
Admission will be subject to the production and verification of all required original certificates and completion of the prescribed admission formalities.
Candidates who have not submitted their recently renewed Residence or Community Certificates can submit the required documents through the Grievance Attachment option available in their dashboard.
The documents must be submitted on or before 19 August 2026 by 3:00 PM. Candidates will be able to download their allotment order after submitting the required certificate through the prescribed process.
Candidates allotted seats under the MSP quota have been instructed to report to the CENTAC office on 17 August 2026 for verification of their original documents.
The allotment order for MSP candidates will be enabled only after successful verification of the required documents.

Candidates who have been allotted seats should carefully check their allotment status and download the allotment order through their CENTAC dashboard. They should report to the allotted college within the prescribed deadline with all original certificates, required fees and the allotment order.
Candidates should also ensure that any pending Residence or Community Certificate requirements are completed within the specified deadline. Failure to complete the required admission formalities within the prescribed timeline may affect the admission process.
