Punjab NEET UG 2026: The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot has constituted a State Medical Assessment Board at Guru Gobind Singh Medical College & Hospital, Faridkot, for the assessment of candidates claiming the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category for admission to MBBS/BDS courses under NEET UG 2026 against Punjab State Quota seats.

As per the public notice dated August 15, 2026, eligible PwBD candidates can appear before the State Medical Assessment Board for their medical assessment from August 17 to August 20, 2026.

The assessment will be conducted at the office of the Principal, Guru Gobind Singh Medical College & Hospital, Faridkot, between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM during the scheduled dates.

Candidates who have already undergone assessment by a board constituted at the designated centres specified by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) do not need to appear before the State Medical Assessment Board.

BFUHS has also clarified that the disability assessment/certificate issued by the State Medical Assessment Board will be valid only for admission against the 85% State Quota seats of Punjab. It will not be valid for admission against All India Quota seats.
