The Director General, Medical Education & Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh has released the schedule for the First Round of Online Counselling for UP NEET MDS 2026 for admission to state quota MDS seats in government and private dental colleges and universities across Uttar Pradesh.

According to the official notice dated August 19, 2026, the counselling schedule has been issued in continuation of the timetable announced by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), New Delhi for NEET-MDS admissions.

Eligible candidates seeking admission through the Uttar Pradesh state quota will be required to complete online registration, deposit the applicable registration and security fees, participate in choice filling and lock their choices within the prescribed schedule.

The first round of counselling will be conducted for state quota MDS seats in Government and Private Dental Colleges/Universities in Uttar Pradesh. Candidates must complete the registration and fee payment within the specified deadlines to participate in the counselling process.

The merit list is scheduled to be declared on August 27, 2026. After the merit list is released, eligible candidates will be able to participate in the online choice-filling process from August 29 to September 1, 2026.

The result of seat allotment for the first round will be announced on September 2, 2026. Candidates who receive a seat allotment will be able to download their allotment letters and complete the admission process between September 3 and September 9, 2026.

Candidates are advised to carefully follow the official counselling schedule and complete each activity before the respective deadline.
