The Board has clarified that reserved category candidates included in the UR merit list must appear at their scheduled UR counselling time. If they fail to appear, the reserved category seat available at their merit serial may be opted for and allotted to a candidate with a lower merit rank. Seats in the UR category that are blocked due to such jump-over will be opened only on the day of counselling for the respective reserved category.

Candidates should note that inclusion of a PGPAC ID in the counselling programme does not guarantee admission. Admission will remain subject to fulfilment of all eligibility requirements mentioned in the PGPAC-2026 prospectus and applicable rules.

Course and Institution Choice During Counselling

After verification of original certificates, documents and identity, eligible candidates will be allowed to exercise their choice for the available course and institution according to their merit serial. Once a course or institution is opted for and allotted in the concerned category, no subsequent request for change of course or institution in the same category will be entertained.

Candidates who are absent or unable to appear at their scheduled counselling time may appear later during the counselling period of their respective category. However, such candidates will have to choose from the course and institution options available at the time of their actual reporting.

The admission fee and other applicable charges will have to be deposited at the concerned college at the time of admission.

Candidates whose eligibility is found deficient under the PGPAC-2026 prospectus, or under the latest applicable orders of the Hon'ble High Court, Supreme Court or Department of Health, Government of Bihar, may have their candidature rejected.
