The University of Delhi (DU) has extended the registration deadline for admissions to its B.Tech programmes for the academic session 2026-27. Along with the extension, the university has also announced the correction window schedule and the detailed timeline for the first and second rounds of seat allocation.

According to the public notice issued by the Admission Branch, candidates seeking admission to B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Electrical Engineering can now complete their registration process until 4:59 PM on June 18, 2026.

The university has also provided an opportunity for already registered candidates to make corrections in their application forms. The correction window will remain open from 10:00 AM on June 19, 2026, to 4:59 PM on June 20, 2026. No changes will be permitted after the closure of the correction facility.

As per the admission schedule, the first round of B.Tech seat allocation results will be declared on June 24, 2026. Candidates allotted seats in the first round must accept their allocated seats between June 24 and June 29, 2026. During the same period, the Faculty of Technology will verify and approve the submitted applications. The last date for payment of the admission fee for the first round is July 1, 2026, up to 4:59 PM.

The second round of seat allocation will be announced on July 3, 2026. Candidates who receive an allotment in this round will have to accept their seats by July 8, 2026, while the verification and approval of applications by the Faculty of Technology will continue until July 9, 2026. The deadline for online fee payment for the second round is July 10, 2026, up to 4:59 PM.

Delhi University has advised all applicants to carefully review their application details during the correction period and complete every admission-related formality within the prescribed deadlines to avoid cancellation of their candidature.
