The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai, has issued Notice No. 19 dated September 28, 2026, regarding the seat matrix for BPTH, BOTH, BASLP, B.P&O and BNYS Group C courses under NEET UG 2026 admissions.

The seat matrix for the Allied Courses under Group C was published on September 27, 2026, as per the admission schedule announced by the State CET Cell.

Following the publication of the seat matrix, the office received several representations regarding the availability of seats and colleges for BPTH and BOTH courses.

All MUHS-Affiliated Colleges Included in Current Seat Matrix

The Maharashtra State CET Cell has clarified that all colleges that have received affiliation from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) for the academic year 2026-27 have been included in the seat matrix.

These colleges have also been made available to eligible candidates for choice filling during the counselling process.

The authority has further clarified that the number of affiliated colleges appearing in the current year's list is lower compared with the previous academic year.

Newly Affiliated Colleges to Be Added in Subsequent Rounds

According to the notice, colleges that receive MUHS affiliation for the academic year 2026-27 will be included in the seat matrix during the subsequent rounds of the admission process, subject to the necessary updates and completion of the required procedures.

This means that the current seat matrix may be updated as additional colleges receive the required affiliation from MUHS.

Eligible candidates should therefore continue to monitor the updated seat matrix during the upcoming counselling rounds.

Betterment Facility Available Up to CAP Round 3

The State CET Cell has also clarified that the betterment facility will remain available up to CAP Round 3.

Candidates will therefore have an opportunity to exercise their preferences for newly permitted colleges once:

• The college receives the required MUHS affiliation for 2026-27; and
• The college name is incorporated into the updated seat matrix.

Candidates can then use their choice preferences for such newly added colleges during the applicable counselling process.
