Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has issued a public notice regarding admissions to B.Tech and B.Pharm Lateral Entry programmes through UPTAC 2026.
According to the notification issued on 20 July 2026, candidates whose final-year diploma results have not yet been declared will be permitted to participate in the main counselling rounds (Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and Round 4), subject to fulfilling the prescribed eligibility requirements.
AKTU has clarified that eligible candidates can participate in counselling only if they satisfy the following conditions:
Candidates will be required to produce the mark sheets of all semesters (1st to 5th semester) either during registration or while reporting to the allotted institute.If a candidate is found ineligible at the time of physical reporting, the admission will be cancelled automatically.
AKTU has clearly stated that if a candidate fails to fulfil the prescribed eligibility conditions during institute reporting, the seat confirmation fee of INR 20,000 or INR12,000 (as applicable) paid during counselling will not be refunded.
