The Office of the Director of Medical Education (DME), Assam, Sixmile, Khanapara, Guwahati, has issued an Educational Notice regarding offline counselling and spot admission for admission to 1st year M.Sc Nursing courses at Regional College of Nursing, Guwahati for the academic session 2026.
The counselling will be conducted for candidates whose names have appeared in the Merit List of the M.Sc. Nursing Entrance Examination 2026, conducted by Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences.
The offline counselling and spot admission will be held on:

Eligible candidates interested in admission should appear at the venue on the scheduled date and time.
Candidates whose names have appeared in the M.Sc. Nursing Entrance Examination 2026 merit list conducted by Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences can participate in the counselling process.
Interested candidates are required to bring their relevant certificates and testimonials in original, along with the necessary admission fees and other required documents for the counselling process.
The counselling will also include spot admission for candidates selected for admission to the M.Sc Nursing course.
Candidates who are selected during the counselling process will have to complete their admission on the spot by paying the necessary admission fees and completing the required formalities.
Candidates should therefore carry the required admission fee and original documents when attending the counselling.
Candidates whose names appear in the M.Sc. Nursing Entrance Examination 2026 merit list and who are applying for NEC quota seats may also participate in the counselling.
Such candidates must bring the necessary recommendation from the Secretary, North Eastern Council (NEC) along with their other certificates and testimonials in original.
Candidates seeking admission under the NEC quota should ensure that the required recommendation is available at the time of counselling.
