The Assam Science and Technology University has officially invited online applications for B.Tech Admission 2026-27 under the self-financing mode for eligible candidates. The admission process is open for B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) with specialisations including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science, and Cyber Security at the university campus in Guwahati, Assam.

As per the eligibility criteria, candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics, and one additional subject such as Chemistry, Computer Science, Biology, Electronics, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, or Entrepreneurship. Applicants must secure at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) in the required subjects. Candidates should also be at least 17 years old as on July 1, 2026, possess good moral character, and be physically and mentally fit.

According to the admission schedule, the online application process began on May 25, 2026, while the last date to apply is June 30, 2026. The admission counselling session will be conducted from July 6 to July 9, 2026, followed by the open merit list announcement on July 10, 2026. Selected candidates will have to complete document upload, fee payment, and verification as per the university timeline before the semester begins on August 1, 2026.

Candidates are advised to complete the registration process carefully, submit required details, and pay the application fee, as incomplete applications without fee payment will be rejected.
