The Assam Science and Technology University has officially invited online applications for M.Tech admissions 2026-27 under the self-financing mode for eligible candidates. The admission process is open for postgraduate programmes including M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and M.Tech in Energy Engineering at the university campus in Guwahati, Assam.

Candidates having a valid GATE score in relevant disciplines will be given preference and admitted on a merit basis, while remaining vacant seats will be filled through the ASTUEE 2026 entrance examination. Students awaiting their final semester B.E./B.Tech results are also eligible to apply, subject to document submission within the stipulated timeline prescribed by the university.

As per the admission schedule, the online application process begins on May 25, 2026, while the last date for submission of applications is June 25, 2026. The university will announce the open merit list for GATE-qualified candidates on June 26, followed by document verification, admission, and fee payment. The ASTUEE 2026 admission test schedule and merit lists will also be announced as per the university timeline.

Candidates are advised to carefully complete the online registration process, upload required details, and pay the application fee, as applications without payment will be rejected.
