The Centralized Counselling for M.Tech. (CCMT) 2026 has officially announced the National Spot Round (NSR) Seat Allotment Result for admissions to postgraduate programmes offered by NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and other participating institutes.

Candidates who participated in the National Spot Round can now log in to the official CCMT portal and download their Seat Allotment Letter using their application credentials. The allotment has been prepared based on GATE scores, candidate preferences, and seat availability.

Candidates Must Report Within the Deadline

Candidates allotted seats in the National Spot Round are required to report physically at their allotted institute between 5 August and 11 August 2026. During reporting, candidates must complete document verification, fee payment, and other admission formalities within the prescribed schedule.

Failure to report within the stipulated deadline may result in cancellation of the allotted seat.

Admission Based on GATE Scores

CCMT conducts centralized admissions to M.Tech., M.Arch., and M.Plan programmes in participating institutions based on valid GATE 2024, 2025, and 2026 scores. The National Spot Round serves as the final opportunity for eligible candidates to secure admission against vacant postgraduate seats.Click here
