The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow, has issued an important public notice ahead of the Common Nursing Entrance Test (CNET) 2026, scheduled to be conducted on June 6, 2026, across 307 examination centres in Uttar Pradesh.

The university has assured candidates, parents, and guardians that the examination will be conducted with the highest standards of fairness, transparency, and integrity. ABVMU stated that comprehensive security arrangements, vigilance teams, flying squads, and real-time monitoring mechanisms have been deployed at all examination centres in coordination with the Special Task Force (STF) and Uttar Pradesh Police.

ABVMU has also cautioned candidates about false and fabricated claims regarding CNET 2026 question paper leaks being circulated on platforms such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and other social media channels. The university has strongly denied the authenticity of any such claims and described them as deliberate attempts to mislead students, create panic, and extort money from aspirants.

Candidates and parents have been advised not to believe, engage with, or make payments to anyone claiming to possess the CNET 2026 question paper. The university has further urged students not to share or forward such messages and to immediately report suspicious activities to the authorities.

ABVMU warned that strict legal action will be taken against individuals involved in fraudulent activities under relevant provisions of the Information Technology Act, Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, and the Uttar Pradesh Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024.
