The University of Delhi (DU) has officially announced the next phase of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS UG) 2026-27 admission schedule. The notification includes important dates for the Upgrade Window, Round 3 seat allocation, Mid-Entry registration, Ward Quota, CW, ECA, Sports quota admissions, and Performance-Based Programmes.

Candidates participating in the undergraduate admission process should regularly check the CSAS portal and complete each stage within the notified timeline.

Upgrade Window and Round 1 of Ward Quota

The University has announced the following schedule:

• Upgrade Allocation & Round 1 Ward Quota Result: August 1, 2026
• College Verification: August 1 to August 3, 2026 (4:59 PM)
• Last Date for Fee Payment: August 4, 2026 (11:59 PM)

Candidates receiving upgraded seats will need to pay the differential admission fee, if applicable.

Mid-Entry and Correction Window Opens on August 3

DU has introduced a Mid-Entry facility for candidates who could not register during CSAS Phase I.

Mid-Entry Window: August 3 to August 5, 2026 (11:59 PM)

Candidates registering through Mid-Entry must pay an additional non-refundable fee of INR1,000.

During this period, eligible candidates can:

• Complete CSAS Phase I registration.
• Submit programme and college preferences.
• Edit subject mapping and preferences.
• Correct previously rejected applications due to document or eligibility issues.

The Mid-Entry facility will not be available for ECA, Sports, CW, Ward Supernumerary Quota, Performance-Based Programmes (Music, BFA, B.Sc. PE, HE & S), and BFA admissions.

Performance-Based Programme Admission Schedule

The schedule for Round 1 of Performance-Based Programmes is:

• Seat Allocation: August 6, 2026
• Seat Acceptance: August 6 to August 11, 2026
• College Verification: August 6 to August 12, 2026 (4:59 PM)
• Last Date for Fee Payment: August 13, 2026 (11:59 PM)

The programmes include:

• B.A. (Hons.) Music
• Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA)
• B.Sc. (Physical Education, Health Education & Sports)

DU CSAS Round 3 Schedule

The University has also announced the schedule for the Third Round of CSAS UG Admission 2026.

• Round 3 Seat Allocation Result: August 8, 2026
• Seat Acceptance: August 8 to August 11, 2026
• College Verification: August 8 to August 12, 2026
• Last Date for Fee Payment: August 13, 2026

The third-round allocation will be prepared based on the candidate data available up to August 5, 2026.

CW, ECA, Sports and Ward Quota Schedule

Delhi University has also released the schedule for supernumerary quota admissions:

• CW, ECA & Sports Round 1 Allocation: August 9, 2026
• Seat Acceptance: August 9 to August 11, 2026

For Ward Quota:

• Round 2 Allocation: August 10, 2026
• Seat Acceptance: August 10 to August 11, 2026
