Gujarat Vidyapith has officially announced the Admission Programme for the academic session 2026 for Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), PG Diploma, and Ph.D. programmes. The university has also released the complete schedule for the admission process, including entrance exam, merit list, and counselling dates.

As per the official schedule, the online application process commenced on March 22, 2026, and the last date to submit the application form is May 8, 2026 (up to 2:00 PM). Admissions to UG, PG, and PG Diploma programmes will be conducted through the GEETA (Gujarat Vidyapith Eligibility and Efficacy Test for Admission), which is scheduled to be held on May 10, 2026 with reporting time at 10:00 AM. The GEETA result will be declared on the same day at 5:00 PM, followed by the merit list on May 11, 2026.

The counselling and admission process will take place between May 12 and May 13, 2026, while Ph.D. admissions will include a Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI) on May 14, 2026. The academic session (Guru Purnima Semester) is scheduled to commence from July 1, 2026.

The university offers a wide range of programmes including B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.R.S., and B.P.E.S at the undergraduate level, and M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., M.S.W., M.Lib.I.Sc., and M.Sc.-IT at the postgraduate level. Admissions are conducted in regular mode, and the medium of instruction is Gujarati.
