IISER Round 2 Seat Allotment Result Releasing Today

The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) will release the Round 2 seat allotment result for IISER Admission 2026 today, 1 August 2026. Candidates who participated in the counselling process can log in to the official IISER Admissions Portal to check their allotment status.

The Round 2 allotment has been prepared based on candidates' merit, category, seat availability, and preferences submitted during the counselling process.

How to Check the Round 2 Seat Allotment

Candidates can follow these steps to access their allotment result:

• Visit the official IISER Admissions Portal.Click here
• Click on the Round 2 Seat Allotment login link.
• Enter the Registration/Application ID and Password.
• Download and save the allotment letter for future admission formalities.

Seat Acceptance Deadline

Candidates who receive a seat in Round 2 must complete the online admission process before the prescribed deadline.

The Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) must be paid by 5 August 2026.

• General/OBC/EWS: INR 35,000
• SC/ST: INR17,500

During the reporting process, candidates will also need to choose one of the available willingness options:

• Accept & Freeze – Confirm the allotted seat and exit further counselling.
• Accept & Float – Accept the current seat while remaining eligible for upgradation in the next counselling round.

Round 3 Counselling Expected Soon

Following the completion of Round 2 admission formalities, the Round 3 counselling process is expected to begin around 10 August 2026, subject to the official counselling schedule.
