The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has released the official schedule for the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2026, the national-level entrance test for admission into undergraduate engineering programmes at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Registered candidates who qualify in JEE Main 2026 will be eligible to apply. The exam will be held in computer-based test (CBT) mode on Sunday, 17 May 2026

Who Can Apply: Only candidates who qualify in JEE Main 2026 (top 2,50,000 rank holders across categories) are eligible to register for JEE Advanced 2026.
Application: The online registration portal will be open on the official site jeeadv.ac.in during the specified windows.
Admit Card: Registered candidates can download their hall tickets from 11 May to 17 May 2026 — entry to exam centres is not permitted without it.
Exam Format: The exam comprises two compulsory papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, testing Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Answer Keys & Results: NBEMS will publish the provisional answer keys and allow challenges, followed by final answer keys and results on scheduled dates
