The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra is concluding the CAP Round 1 admission reporting process for B.E./B.Tech admissions today. Candidates who received seats in the first round must report to their allotted institutes and complete all admission formalities before 3:00 PM on August 5, 2026.

Candidates who fail to complete the reporting process within the stipulated deadline may lose their allotted seat.

Candidates allotted seats must visit their respective institutes with all required original documents for verification and complete the admission fee payment before the reporting deadline. Successful completion of these steps is mandatory to confirm the allotted seat.

Betterment Option Available

Candidates who are satisfied with their current allotment and wish to retain it can choose the "Freeze" option. However, those seeking admission to a higher-preference college or branch in upcoming CAP rounds should select the "Not Freeze" option while completing the reporting process.

Selecting "Not Freeze" allows candidates to retain their current admission while remaining eligible for seat upgradation in the next counselling rounds, subject to availability.
