The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has officially started the Round 1 College Option Form Filling process for admissions to the 5-Year LLB programme under the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for the academic session 2026-27.

Candidates whose names appear in the final merit list can now log in to the official CAP portal and fill in their preferred colleges before the deadline. The Round 1 allotment will be prepared based on merit, category, reservation rules, preferences submitted by candidates, and seat availability.

Candidates Should Fill College Preferences Carefully

Candidates are advised to carefully arrange their preferred colleges during the option form filling period, as seat allotment will be based on the choices submitted, merit rank, reservation category, and seat availability.

Once the Round 1 allotment is announced on 12 August 2026, selected candidates must physically report to their allotted colleges between 13 August and 18 August 2026 (excluding 15 August) with all required original documents to confirm admission.

Registration Window Reopens for Eligible Candidates

The CET Cell has also opened a fresh registration window for CET-qualified candidates who have not yet registered. These candidates can complete their registration for Round III and Institutional Level Admissions between 5 August and 31 August 2026.
