The selection list has been issued pursuant to the Government approval vide No. Health/163/2026/Pt-I/57 dated September 30, 2026, and in accordance with the earlier advertisement dated September 14, 2026.

The selected candidates will be admitted to the following two government nursing institutions in Shillong:

• Meghalaya Government College of Nursing, Civil Hospital, Shillong
• Shillong Government College of Nursing, Ganesh Das Government M&CH Hospital, Shillong

Meghalaya B.Sc Nursing 2026 Reporting Dates

Candidates whose names appear in the selected candidates list are required to report to the Office of the Directorate of Health Services, Medical Education & Research, DHS(MI) Building, Health Complex, Laitumkhrah, Room No. 501.

Reporting will be conducted on October 5 and October 6, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Selected candidates have been instructed to report along with their parents or guardians and carry all relevant documents in original for verification and acceptance.

Failure to Report May Lead to Loss of Seat

The Meghalaya DME has clearly stated that selected candidates who fail to report on the specified date and time will automatically lose their right to nomination.

In such cases, the candidate next in the merit list will be nominated for admission. Therefore, candidates who have been selected are advised to complete the reporting and acceptance process within the prescribed schedule.

Waiting List Candidates to Check Status on October 7

Candidates included in the waiting list have also been given specific instructions by the Directorate.

Waiting list candidates must ascertain their status position from the office of the Directorate of Health Services, Medical Education & Research on October 7, 2026, before 5:00 PM.

The notice states that claims submitted after the prescribed deadline will not be entertained.
