The Directorate of Health Services, Medical Education & Research (DME), Meghalaya has issued a notice regarding the reporting schedule for candidates appearing for the screening process for admission to MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS and BUMS courses for the academic session 2026-27.
According to the notice dated August 25, 2026, the screening of eligible candidates against State Quota seats and Shillong Medical College will be conducted on August 27 and August 28, 2026. The latest notice has specifically provided the reporting time slots for candidates who have opted for the Shillong Centre at Civil Hospital Shillong.
The notice has been issued in continuation of the Directorate's earlier notice dated August 24, 2026, concerning the screening of eligible candidates for undergraduate medical and allied AYUSH courses.
Candidates who have selected the Shillong Centre (Civil Hospital Shillong) are advised to check Annexure-I of the official notice carefully for their allotted reporting time slot. They should report at the centre according to the schedule applicable to them.
The screening process covers candidates seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS and BUMS courses against the relevant State Quota seats and seats at Shillong Medical College for the 2026-27 academic session.
Candidates are advised to follow the reporting schedule issued by the Meghalaya DME and keep all required admission and verification documents ready for the screening process.
Candidates opting for the Shillong Centre should check Annexure-I for their assigned reporting time slot and reach Civil Hospital Shillong as per the prescribed schedule. Candidates should also carry the necessary original documents and certificates required for the screening and admission process.
