The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra has reminded candidates that today is the last date to submit and confirm the CAP Round 1 option form for B.E./B.Tech admissions through MHT CET 2026.

Candidates who have completed the counselling registration process must lock and confirm their preferred colleges and branches before the option entry window closes. Failure to do so may result in candidates being excluded from the Round 1 seat allotment process.

CAP Round 1 Option Entry Ends Today

Candidates participating in MHT CET CAP Round 1 Counselling 2026 should complete the following before the deadline:

• Fill their preferred colleges and branches.
• Review and modify choices, if required.
• Confirm and lock the option form.
• Submit the final preferences online.

Candidates are advised to carefully verify their selected choices before final submission.

Provisional Seat Allotment on August 2

After the option entry process concludes, the CET Cell will release the CAP Round 1 Provisional Seat Allotment Result on:

• Provisional Seat Allotment Date: August 2, 2026

The allotment will be prepared based on:

• Candidate's merit rank
• Category
• Reservation policy
• Preferences submitted
• Availability of seats

Candidates Should Keep Documents Ready

Applicants are advised to keep the following documents ready for the admission process:

• MHT CET 2026 Score Card
• CAP Registration Details
• Class 10 and Class 12 Mark Sheets
• Category Certificate (if applicable)
• Domicile Certificate (if applicable)
• Aadhaar Card or other valid photo ID
