The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially declared the results and NTA Scores of the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2026 for admission to the 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) for the academic session 2026-27.
The examination was conducted on 17 and 18 April 2026 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across 145 cities throughout India. According to official data, 73,608 candidates registered for the examination, while 58,995 candidates appeared, recording an attendance rate of 80.14%.
NCET 2026 was conducted for admission to ITEP programmes offered by 223 approved institutions, including Central Universities, State Universities, IITs, NITs, Regional Institutes of Education (RIEs), and Government Colleges across the country.
To provide greater flexibility, the examination offered 66 subjects, including 38 languages, 26 domain-specific subjects, Teaching Aptitude, and General Test. The multilingual examination framework enabled candidates from different regions to appear in their preferred language.
Candidates were also given an opportunity to challenge the provisional answer keys between 28 April and 30 April 2026. After reviewing all objections, subject experts finalized the answer keys, and the results were prepared accordingly.
Candidates can now check and download their NCET 2026 scorecards from the official portal using their login credentials. The score data will be shared with the concerned authorities for the admission and counselling process.
