The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced that the NEET UG 2026 Re-Examination for admission to undergraduate medical courses will be conducted on 21 June 2026 (Sunday) in offline Pen & Paper mode across various cities in India and abroad.
According to the notification, the examination will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM (IST), including the time allotted for examination formalities. The exam will be conducted in 13 languages, including Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
NTA has also opened a special correction window for candidates who wish to change their present address and preferred examination city due to relocation or change of residence. Candidates can update their details through the official NEET website from 15 May to 21 May 2026 (up to 11:50 PM). No additional fee will be charged for this update facility.
The agency clarified that no corrections other than present address and examination city preference will be allowed during this period. Candidates who do not make any changes within the given timeline will retain their previously selected examination city.
NTA further stated that the city intimation slip and admit cards will be released later on the official website. Students are advised to regularly visit the official NEET portal for the latest updates and instructions regarding the examination.
