The National Institute of Design (NID) has issued an important notification for candidates awaiting the B.Des Final Result 2026. According to the official instructions, the B.Des final result will be announced on or before May 28, 2026, after which qualified candidates must complete document uploading and submit their final institute preferences within the given deadline.

After the declaration of results, candidates will be required to upload mandatory documents and finalize institute preferences from the result announcement date until May 31, 2026 (midnight). Candidates will be allowed to review and modify uploaded documents and institute choices multiple times before the deadline, after which the final submitted preference will be treated as final.

The notification also mentions that Round 1 seat allotment, seat confirmation, and token fee payment will take place from June 9 to June 11, 2026, while provisional offer letters are expected between June 16 and June 18, 2026. Seat allotment will be done based on merit, category, and institute preferences submitted by candidates.

Candidates selected in Round 1 will need to confirm their admission by paying a token amount of ?45,100 for Indian category students, which will later be adjusted against the first semester fee. Failure to upload documents, submit institute preferences, or pay the token amount within the deadline may result in cancellation of candidature or seat allotment.

Candidates are advised to regularly check updates on the admissions portal and keep all required documents ready to avoid missing important deadlines during the admission process.
