The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially declared the final results of the National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination (NIFTEE) 2026 for admission to various Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), and Lateral Entry programmes offered by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) for the academic session 2026-27.

Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check and download their results online through the official NIFTEE portal using their Application Number and Password.

The NIFTEE 2026 Stage 1 examination was conducted on 8 February 2026 across 129 examination centres in 97 cities nationwide. A total of 21,307 unique candidates registered for the entrance examination, while 35,596 test entries appeared, resulting in an overall attendance rate of 88.44%.

Following the declaration of Stage 1 results on 20 March 2026, shortlisted candidates participated in Stage 2 Skill Tests, Situation Tests, Studio Tests, Technical Ability Tests, Artisan Skill Tests, and Personal Interviews conducted between April 6 and April 26, 2026. The final merit list has been prepared after evaluating candidates' performance in all applicable stages as per NIFT admission guidelines.

NTA stated that the result preparation process included digital evaluation, expert assessment, personal interviews, skill test scrutiny, and verification of evaluation records to ensure transparency and fairness throughout the admission process.
