The Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) has issued an official notification announcing the revised schedule for the Postgraduate Entrance Examination (PGEE) 2026. According to the latest educational notice dated July 27, 2026, the entrance examination has been postponed by one week.
The examination, which was earlier scheduled to be held on August 9, 2026, will now take place on August 16, 2026, at Guwahati from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
As per the revised notification, the important dates are as follows:
Candidates who have not yet applied can complete the online application process before the revised deadline.
The entrance examination will be conducted for admission to the following postgraduate programmes offered by Government and Private Institutes of Assam for the 2026 academic session:
The university has also informed that limited seats are available in Government institutions.
Candidates interested in appearing for the entrance examination should carefully check the prescribed eligibility criteria available on the official SSUHS website before submitting their applications.
The university has clarified that all other terms and conditions mentioned in the earlier Educational Notice dated June 30, 2026, will remain unchanged.
Applicants are advised to make note of the revised examination date and complete the application process well before August 10, 2026.
