The Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education & Research (DMER), Kilpauk, Chennai, has announced an extension of the application deadline for B.Pharm Lateral Entry Courses for the 2026-27 academic session.

As per Notification No. 01/SCSIII/2026 dated September 2, 2026, the last date for submission of online applications has been extended following the receipt of several representations from candidates.

B.Pharm Lateral Entry Application Deadline Extended

Under the revised schedule, eligible candidates can now submit their online applications for B.Pharm Lateral Entry Courses up to September 7, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

Candidates who have not yet completed their applications are advised to use the extended window and submit the required application within the prescribed deadline.

Reason for Deadline Extension

The Selection Committee stated that the deadline has been extended after receiving many representations from candidates requesting additional time for submitting their online applications.

The extension provides eligible applicants with additional time to complete the application process for B.Pharm Lateral Entry admission.

Candidates Advised to Complete Applications on Time

Candidates interested in B.Pharm Lateral Entry admission should complete and submit their online applications before the revised deadline of September 7, 2026, at 5:00 PM.Applicants are advised to carefully check the official admission instructions and ensure that their applications are submitted successfully within the extended application window.
