The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has officially released the notification for TG EDCET 2026. This entrance exam is conducted for admission into B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) courses offered by various colleges and universities across Telangana.

The online application process for TG EDCET 2026 is expected to begin in March 2026. Interested candidates who wish to pursue a career in teaching can apply through the official website. Applicants are advised to carefully read the eligibility criteria before applying.

To be eligible, candidates must have completed their graduation or post-graduation in relevant disciplines with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). The entrance exam will be conducted in online (CBT) mode.

The TG EDCET exam will consist of multiple-choice questions covering subjects such as General Knowledge, Teaching Aptitude, and subject-specific content based on the candidate’s specialization.

The exam is expected to be held in May/June 2026. After the exam, results will be announced online, followed by a centralized counseling process for seat allotment.

Candidates who qualify in TG EDCET will be eligible for admission into B.Ed programs in government and private colleges across Telangana. The score is valid for one academic year only.
