The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Telangana has announced the reopening of online registration for admission to MBBS and BDS courses for the academic year 2026-27 under the Competent Authority Quota.
According to the notification dated August 18, 2026, the registration process has been reopened following several requests received from candidates. The registration process, which was earlier closed on August 12, 2026, will now remain open from 2:00 PM on August 18, 2026, to 6:00 PM on August 20, 2026.
The reopened registration applies to admissions under the Competent Authority Quota in Government, Private Medical and Dental Colleges affiliated with KNRUHS.
Candidates who have qualified in NEET UG 2026 by securing the prescribed cutoff score or above are eligible to submit their applications within the revised registration window.

Candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2026 by securing marks equal to or above the applicable cutoff score can participate in the reopened registration process for MBBS and BDS admissions under the Competent Authority Quota.
Candidates are advised to carefully refer to the earlier notification and prospectus issued by KNRUHS on August 4, 2026 for detailed eligibility conditions, required certificates and other admission-related requirements.
KNRUHS has clarified that candidates who have already submitted their applications do not need to register again during the reopened registration window.
Only candidates who have not submitted their applications earlier and are eligible for admission should use the reopened registration opportunity.
