Tamil Nadu Diploma in Pharmacy Counselling 2026: Round 1 Online Registration and Choice Filling from September 7

The Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Chennai has announced the Round 1 tentative online counselling schedule for Diploma in Pharmacy Course for the 2026-27 academic session.

The counselling is applicable to all Special Category and General Category candidates included in the eligible list, irrespective of their rank, for Government seats in Government Colleges.

The Diploma in Pharmacy admission process will be conducted through online counselling based on rank and the applicable reservation rules. The counselling is specifically for non-service candidates.

Candidates included in the eligible list are required to participate in the counselling process as per the prescribed schedule.

Processing Fee for Tamil Nadu D.Pharm Counselling 2026

Candidates participating in the online counselling process will have to pay a non-refundable processing fee of INR 250.

The fee can be paid online through:

  • Debit Card
  • Credit Card
  • Net Banking

Candidates should complete the payment within the prescribed counselling period.

Choice Filling and Locking

Candidates must carefully select their preferred colleges and course options during the online counselling process.

Once a candidate locks the choices, the options cannot be changed later. The Selection Committee has also clarified that requests for changing the branch or college after an option has been exercised will not be permitted.

Therefore, candidates should carefully review their choices before completing the locking process.

Seat Matrix for Diploma in Pharmacy

The seat matrix for the Diploma in Pharmacy course will be made available on the official website.

Candidates should check the available seats and participating Government Colleges before submitting their preferences.

Admission will be made through online counselling based on the candidate's rank and applicable reservation rules.

Reporting After Seat Allotment

Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 will be required to download their Provisional Allotment Order from the online counselling portal.

After downloading the allotment order, candidates must report to the concerned Medical College/Institution and complete the admission process within the prescribed deadline.

The reporting deadline is:

September 15, 2026 up to 5:00 PM

Candidates must personally report to the allotted institution along with their original certificates and photocopies of the original documents.

Documents Required at the Time of Joining

Candidates selected for admission should carry:

  • Original certificates
  • Photocopies of the original certificates
  • Provisional Allotment Order
  • Other documents required by the concerned institution

Candidates should ensure that all required documents are available before reporting to the allotted college.

Important Instructions for Candidates

Candidates should keep their login ID, password and OTP confidential and must not share them with others.

The Selection Committee has also clarified that it will not be responsible for connectivity or internet-related errors during the online counselling process.

Candidates should complete registration, fee payment, choice filling and locking well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.

If a candidate fails to report to the allotted institution within the specified date and time, their selection and/or admission will be cancelled without further notice.

Selected candidates must also submit a self-declaration form at the time of reporting. If suppression of facts, misinterpretation or other eligibility-related issues are found during or after admission, the candidate may be liable for cancellation of selection or admission.
