The JEPBN 2025 exam will be conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) for admission to the undergraduate nursing programme. The JEPBN 2025 exam will tentatively be conducted in offline mode in June 2025. The JEPBN application process will tentatively begin in April 2025. JEPBN 2025 Application Form

The exam conducting body West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will release the application form JEPBN in April 2025. The last date for JEPBN 2025 registration will be announced in the event calendar on the official website. The JEPBN 2025 application process will be conducted completely online. After the JEPBN application process concludes, authorities will release the window to modify the JEPBN 2025 application form. The JEPBN 2025 application correction window will open soon afterwards. 

The first step in filling out the application form is to fill in the personal details and contact details. Post this step, a code will be generated which will help in creating further login credentials. Candidates need to create their user ID and password using these details. It is important to fill out the complete application form by entering details such as academic details and qualifications, contact details, and present employment details. Then upload the passport-size photograph and scanned copy of the signature. At last, pay of the JEPBN application fee.

The JEPBN 2025 application fee will be announced in the notification for the current academic year. However, the application fee for the previous year was INR 3,000 which was to be paid online through credit/debit card, and net banking.

JEPBN 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The JENPB 2025 eligibility criteria are given below:

  • Candidates must have passed the Class 12 exam from a recognised Board and GNM course and obtained the registration / RNRM certificate from any State Nursing Council of any state of India.

  • The upper age limit for those employed by the West Bengal State Govt. is 53 years (as of the last date of application). There is no upper age limit for candidates who are ESI/Central Government employees.

  • Candidates who are presently employed by the West Bengal State Govt. should have at least 3 years qualifying uninterrupted/regularized experience in Govt. service by the last date of application.

  • Candidates must be a citizen of India

JEPBN 2025 Exam Pattern

The JEPBN 2025 exam pattern states that it is an offline test of 90 minutes duration. It will be conducted in the morning session from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The total number of questions will be 100. The questions were in MCQ format wherein each question carried four answer options. Candidates had to select the correct option by shading the circle next to the correct answer with an HB pencil. The section-wise break up of questions is given in the table below:

JEPBN Exam Marking Scheme

  • Each correct answer will fetch one mark

  • Each incorrect answer will lead to a deduction of 0.25 marks (¼ marks)

  • Marking more than one answer option, even if one of them is correct, will be considered as a wrong answer and would lead to a negative marking.

  • No answer will be deducted for non-attempt of questions.

JEPBN 2025 Result

The JEPBN 2025 result will be announced tentatively in August 2025. The JEPBN 2025 result will be declared in the form of a scorecard. The JEPBN 2025 result carries information such as candidates’ section-wise and overall scores and ranks. Based on the scores, the participating institutes will shortlist candidates for the counselling and admission rounds. WBJEEB will release the JEPBN 2025 merit list based on the General Merit Rank. A JEPBN merit list for reserved category candidates was also released.

JEPBN 2025 Cutoff

WBJEEB will release the JEPBN cutoff ranks and scores at the time of the result. Based on the JEPBN cutoff, candidates’ qualification status will be determined. The cutoff for JEPBN will depend on factors such as the number of test-takers, number of seats, and difficulty level of the exam, to name a few.

JEPBN 2025 Answer Keys

JEPBN answer keys will be released by the exam conducting body 2-3 days after the exam concluded. Candidates will be able to check and calculate their estimated scores. In case they find any discrepancy, they will be allowed to submit the objections by paying a nominal fee per question as decided by the board. The Board will review and publish the final and frozen answer keys. The last date to submit the objections will be notified on the official website. The final answer key will be released along with the result on the official website.
