The Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (Dr. NTR UHS), Vijayawada has released the notification for admission to BAMS, BHMS and BUMS courses for the academic session 2026-27.
The admission process is being conducted for Competent Authority Quota seats available in Government and Private Unaided Non-Minority Ayurveda, Homoeopathy and Unani Medical Colleges affiliated with Dr. NTR UHS in Andhra Pradesh.
Eligible candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2026 with the prescribed cutoff score can submit the common online application form and upload scanned copies of their original certificates through the designated admission portal.

The University has clarified that the dates are tentative and may be changed depending on applicable circumstances and directions from competent authorities.
Candidates must secure the prescribed qualifying score in NEET UG 2026 to participate in the admission process.

For admission to BAMS and BHMS, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with:
Candidates must also meet the prescribed NEET UG 2026 qualifying percentile.
For BUMS, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with:
NEET UG 2026 qualification is compulsory.
Candidates must also have passed Urdu, Arabic or Persian as a subject in Class 10 or Class 12.
Candidates who have not studied any of these languages will be required to study Urdu along with Arabic and Mantiq Wa-Falsafa (Logic and Philosophy) during the First Professional BUMS session, as prescribed by the applicable regulations.
Candidates applying under the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category must possess the prescribed PwD certificate in accordance with the applicable Central Government and NCISM/NCH guidelines.
PwD candidates must mention their PwD status while submitting the online application.
They will also be required to appear before the Medical Board constituted by the competent authority for determination of eligibility under the PwD category.
Candidates registered as Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card holders on or after March 4, 2021 will be eligible for admission only against NRI seats or supernumerary seats.
They will not be eligible for seats reserved exclusively for Indian citizens.

Candidates should keep their User ID confidential for future use.
Dr. NTR UHS will scrutinize the uploaded information and certificates submitted by candidates.
After verification, the University will publish a provisional merit list. Candidates will be given an opportunity to raise grievances, after which the final merit position will be released.
The same application will be considered for subsequent counselling rounds, including stray vacancy rounds, subject to fulfillment of eligibility requirements.
The University has clarified that there will be no offline admission or admission without counselling. Admissions made in violation of the prescribed process or after the applicable cut-off date may be cancelled.
For Government Colleges, the tuition fee will be as fixed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
For private colleges, the notification states that the tuition fee structure for the academic year 2026-27 will be as fixed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
The notification also lists earlier tuition fee orders for certain private colleges, but candidates should follow the fee structure applicable to AY 2026-27 as notified by the competent authorities.
