The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released an important notice regarding the pending Security Deposit refund for candidates of UGMAC-2024 and UGMAC-2025.

According to Advertisement No. BCECEB-2026/03 dated September 8, 2026, candidates who deposited the security amount through the online counselling process and whose refund has not yet been received have been asked to take necessary action for processing the refund.

The notice applies to candidates who had deposited the Security Deposit for seat allotment through Online Counselling and either got admission after seat allotment or did not receive any seat allotment.

UGMAC Security Deposit Refund 2026

BCECEB has clarified that, as per the respective counselling prospectus, the Security Deposit is generally refunded online to the same bank account and through the same transaction mode used for making the payment.

However, the Board has stated that the Security Deposit of some candidates has not been refunded due to technical or other unavoidable reasons.

The names of such candidates have been made available on the BCECEB website through separate lists:

• UGMAC-2024 – Annexure-A
• UGMAC-2025 – Annexure-B

Candidates should check the relevant list on the official BCECEB website.

Candidates Must Verify Bank Account Details

Candidates whose names appear in the refund-related lists and who have not received their Security Deposit refund should verify their Bank Account details.

If the bank account details available with the Board are incorrect or incomplete, candidates should provide the correct account details so that the refund can be processed.

Candidates should ensure that the bank account information submitted for refund is accurate.

Documents Required for Security Deposit Refund

Candidates whose refund is pending should send the required documents to the BCECEB helpdesk.

The notice asks candidates to provide a scanned copy of the Passbook or Cancelled Cheque, along with the relevant application/confirmation document containing the transaction details.

Candidates should ensure that the scanned documents clearly show the required bank account and transaction details.

Refund Documents to Be Sent by September 22

Candidates are required to send the scanned documents and relevant details to the BCECEB helpdesk email:

helpdesk.bceceboard@bihar.gov.in

The required information/documents should be sent to the helpdesk on or before September 22, 2026.

BCECEB has advised candidates to complete the process within the prescribed deadline so that the pending Security Deposit refund can be processed.

How Candidates Can Check the Refund Status

Candidates can follow these steps:

1. Visit the official BCECEB website.
2. Open the UGMAC section.
3. Check the notice regarding UGMAC-2024 and UGMAC-2025 Security Deposit Refund.
4. Check Annexure-A for UGMAC-2024 or Annexure-B for UGMAC-2025.
5. If the candidate's refund is pending, verify the bank account details.
6. Keep the Passbook/Cancelled Cheque and transaction details ready.
7. Send the required scanned documents to helpdesk.bceceboard@bihar.gov.in.
8. Complete the process by September 22, 2026.
