Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada has issued a notification inviting online applications and scanned original certificates for verification for admission to the B.Sc. Nursing 4-Year Degree Course for the academic session 2026-27.
Admission will be conducted for Competent Authority Quota seats in Government Nursing Colleges and eligible private unaided nursing colleges affiliated with Dr NTRUHS in Andhra Pradesh.
Eligible candidates can submit the online application form and upload the required certificates within the prescribed schedule.

The same application will be considered for all rounds of counselling, subject to fulfilment of the applicable eligibility criteria.

The total seat matrix for Competent Authority Quota will be published on the university website before web counselling begins.
Candidates seeking admission must have appeared in NEET UG 2026 conducted by the National Testing Agency.
The State Merit Position will be prepared based on the NEET UG 2026 rank and other prescribed eligibility criteria.
After verification of uploaded certificates, the university will publish the provisional merit list followed by the final merit position.
Candidates must satisfy the eligibility conditions prescribed by Dr NTRUHS.
The candidate must be an Indian National and should satisfy the applicable Local or Non-Local status requirements of Andhra Pradesh under the prescribed admission rules.
Candidates must have passed Intermediate under the 10+2 pattern or an equivalent examination with:
Candidates who completed Intermediate Vocational education must have the prescribed Bridge Course in Biological and Physical Sciences.
The minimum marks requirement is:
Candidates must have completed 17 years of age by December 31, 2026.
Candidates who do not attain 17 years of age by December 31, 2026 are not eligible to apply.
There is no upper age limit specified in the notification.
Candidates seeking admission under the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category must indicate their PwBD status in the online application.
Such candidates are required to appear before the Medical Board constituted by the Competent Authority for determination of eligibility under the PwBD category.
Candidates must have the required UDID card and valid disability certificate, issued not earlier than three months before submission of the application, as specified in the notification.

The merit position itself does not constitute final acceptance of candidature. Eligibility will be verified on the basis of the original documents and prescribed conditions.
Candidates allotted seats will have to submit the printout of the filled online application form, personal verification status and original certificates along with one set of self-attested copies to the Principal of the allotted college at the time of joining.If any discrepancy is found during verification, the provisional allotment can be cancelled.Candidates should not send the printout of the application form to the university.
