The Directorate of Health Services, Medical Education & Research (DME), Meghalaya, Government of Meghalaya, has published the list of candidates eligible to appear for counselling for admission to General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) and Auxiliary Nurse & Midwives (ANM) courses for the academic session 2026-27 under the State Quota.

The notice, issued on September 9, 2026, states that shortlisted candidates must appear before the Screening Committee at the designated counselling centres on the prescribed dates.

The Meghalaya Health Department website also carries current nursing admission and counselling notices for the 2026-27 session.

Meghalaya GNM & ANM Counselling 2026: Screening Schedule

Shortlisted candidates are required to report for screening from 9:00 AM onwards.

Candidates should reach the respective centre on the correct date with all required original documents.

Documents Required for GNM & ANM Counselling

Candidates appearing before the Screening Committee must bring the following documents in original:

1. GNM & ANM CEE 2026 Score Sheet
2. Class XII Mark Sheet
3. Birth Certificate
4. Character Certificate
5. Caste Certificate, wherever applicable
6. Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) in case of Non-ST/SC candidates
7. Other relevant documents, as applicable

Candidates should ensure that all original documents are available before appearing for counselling.

Who Can Participate?

The counselling is being conducted for candidates shortlisted for admission to GNM and ANM courses under the State Quota for the 2026-27 academic session.

Candidates should verify their names in the eligible candidates list published through the Government of Meghalaya website before appearing for screening.

Candidates should carefully check the counselling list and report to the designated centre according to their allotted schedule.
