The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has announced the result of the GNM Entrance Competitive Examination 2026 conducted for admission to GNM nursing courses in Jharkhand.

According to the notice dated September 9, 2026, candidates who appeared in the GNM entrance examination held on August 23, 2026 can now download their results from the official JCECEB website.

The result is available through the Result section on the JCECEB website. Candidates need to select the GNM Entrance Competitive Examination and follow the instructions displayed on the portal to download their result.

Jharkhand GNM Entrance Exam 2026 Result Released

The GNM Entrance Competitive Examination 2026 was conducted on August 23, 2026. JCECEB has now published the examination result for candidates who appeared in the entrance test.

Candidates who have qualified in the examination are eligible to participate in the online counselling process, subject to the applicable eligibility and admission rules.

The list of qualified candidates can be accessed through the Download section of the JCECEB website.

Jharkhand GNM Counselling 2026: Round 1 Schedule

JCECEB will conduct the First Round of Online Counselling for allotment of GNM seats in Jharkhand nursing institutions.

The first-round counselling will be used for admission to all seats in government nursing institutions and 50% free/open seats in non-government nursing institutions, as applicable under the Jharkhand nursing admission rules.

GNM Counselling 2026: Round 2 Schedule

JCECEB has also announced the schedule for the Second Round of Online Counselling for GNM admissions.

Candidates should carefully check the available seat matrix before submitting their choices in the second round.

Who Can Participate in GNM Counselling 2026?

According to the JCECEB notice, candidates who have qualified in the GNM Entrance Competitive Examination 2026 can participate in the online counselling process.

The admission process is being conducted in accordance with the Jharkhand State Nursing Institutions Management, Admission and Examination Conduct (Amendment) Rules, 2024.

Candidates are advised to ensure that they fulfil all applicable eligibility requirements before participating in counselling.

Important Rule for Candidates Seeking Institution Change

JCECEB has specified an important rule for candidates who are allotted and admitted to a seat in the first round but wish to change their institution against vacant seats.

Such candidates can participate in the second round of online counselling.

However, if a different seat/institution is allotted to the candidate in the second round, the candidate will be required to take admission in the newly allotted institution. Their previous admission will be automatically cancelled.

Candidates should therefore make their choices carefully during the second round.

What Candidates Should Do Now

Candidates who have qualified in the Jharkhand GNM Entrance Examination 2026 should:

1. Download and check their GNM Entrance Exam 2026 result.
2. Check their name in the list of qualified candidates.
3. Complete online registration and choice filling for Round 1 between September 9 and September 12, 2026.
4. Edit filled choices on September 13, 2026, if required.
5. Download the provisional seat allotment letter on September 15, 2026, if allotted a seat.
6. Complete document verification and admission at the concerned nursing institute between September 16 and September 19, 2026.

Candidates who wish to participate in the second round should carefully review the seat matrix and submit fresh choices as per the prescribed schedule.
