The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Mumbai has announced a revised deadline for admissions to various degree and postgraduate degree professional courses under technical education for the academic year 2026-27.
According to Circular No. ???????-1226/???.???.007/?????/2026/2187 dated September 7, 2026, the admission deadline has been revised in accordance with the directions issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court on August 12, 2026 (MA No. 2380/2026) and the revised AICTE Academic Calendar dated August 13, 2026.
As per the revised schedule, September 14, 2026 will be the final date for admission to the concerned professional courses.
The deadline will apply to all types of admissions, including admissions conducted through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) as well as institutional-level admission rounds.
Candidates participating in ongoing CAP rounds or institutional-level rounds must ensure that their complete admission process is finished before the final deadline.
The Maharashtra CET Cell has advised all eligible candidates participating in the ongoing admission rounds to complete all required formalities within the prescribed deadline.
