The Directorate of Health Services, Medical Education & Research (DME), Meghalaya has published the list of candidates eligible to appear for B.Sc Nursing counselling for the 2026-27 academic session under the State Quota.

The notice was issued on August 26, 2026, and candidates shortlisted for counselling have been directed to appear before the Screening Committee on September 1, 2026, from 9:00 AM onwards.The official Meghalaya government portal confirms that the eligible-candidate list and the counselling notice for B.Sc Nursing 2026-27 were released on August 26, 2026.

B.Sc Nursing Counselling Centres

Candidates shortlisted for the counselling process have been assigned two screening centres.

Shillong Centre

Candidates appearing at the Shillong centre must report to:

Meghalaya Government College of Nursing, Civil Hospital, Shillong

Tura Centre

Candidates appearing at the Tura centre must report to:

Civil Hospital, Tura

Candidates should check the officially published eligible-candidate list and report to the appropriate centre as instructed.

Documents Required for Counselling

Candidates are required to bring the following documents in original at the time of counselling:

• CEE 2026 Score Sheet
• Class XII Mark Sheet
• Birth Certificate
• Character Certificate
• Caste Certificate
• Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) in case of Non-ST/SC candidates
• Other relevant documents, wherever applicable

Candidates should ensure that their original documents are available and in proper condition before appearing before the Screening Committee.

What Candidates Should Do

Candidates included in the eligible list should carefully verify their name and other details before the counselling date. They should report to the designated centre on September 1, 2026, from 9:00 AM onwards, along with all required original documents.
