The Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education & Research, Kilpauk, Chennai has issued a notification regarding the extension of the registration and choice-locking deadline for admission to B.Sc Nursing, B.Pharm and Allied & Healthcare Undergraduate Degree Courses for the academic session 2026-27.

As per Notification No. 8/SCSIII (1)/2026, dated September 15, 2026, the last date for completing registration and choice locking has been extended to September 19, 2026.

Tamil Nadu UG Counselling 2026: Revised Dates

Candidates participating in the counselling process should note the revised schedule:

Candidates who are yet to complete their registration or choice locking should make use of the extended deadline and complete the process within the prescribed time.

The extended deadline applies to candidates participating in the admission process for:

• B.Sc Nursing
• B.Pharm
• Allied & Healthcare UG Degree Courses

The Selection Committee has advised students to take note of the revised schedule and complete the required counselling formalities accordingly.

Candidates should ensure that their preferred courses and institutions are properly selected and locked within the extended deadline.
