Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (Dr NTR UHS), Andhra Pradesh, has invited online applications for admission to Post Graduate Dental Degree/Diploma courses for the academic year 2026-27 under Competent Authority Quota (CQ) seats. The admissions will be conducted in Government and unaided private non-minority dental colleges affiliated with the University.

NEET MDS 2026 Cut-Off for Andhra Pradesh MDS Admission

Candidates must have secured the prescribed NEET MDS 2026 qualifying percentile and score to be eligible for the PG Dental Degree/Diploma courses.

The internship cut-off date is May 31, 2026.

Local and Non-Local Eligibility Rules

Dr NTR UHS has specified that candidates from other states will not be eligible for Competent Authority Quota seats unless they satisfy the prescribed Local/Non-Local status requirements under the applicable Government of Andhra Pradesh orders.

For the 2026-27 academic year, the notification also states that 85% of seats in each course in non-state-wide institutions will be reserved for local candidates of Andhra Pradesh, while the remaining 15% will be unreserved seats for local/non-local candidates, as per the cited Government order.

Andhra Pradesh Caste Certificate Mandatory

Candidates claiming reservation under the applicable categories must submit the required certificates.

The University has specifically clarified that only the latest permanent caste certificate issued online by the competent authority of the Government of Andhra Pradesh will be considered. Caste certificates issued by other states will not be accepted, and such candidates will be considered under the General category.

MDS Registration and Processing Fee

Late Fee for MDS Applications

Candidates applying during the late-fee window will have to pay an additional Rs. 20,000 late fee.

The University has clearly stated that the application, processing and late fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a future date.

All selected candidates will have to pay a non-refundable University fee of Rs. 25,600.

The tuition fee for the 2026-27 academic year will be as decided by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, subject to the outcome of the court cases mentioned in the notification.

For reference, the notification provides the previous year's 2025-26 tuition fee as:

• Clinical Degree/Diploma: Rs. 3,41,550
• Para-Clinical Degree/Diploma: Rs. 3,07,395
