Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal has issued the notification for conducting the MD Unani Part I Examinations in November 2026. According to the notification dated October 1, 2026, the theory examinations will commence from November 13, 2026, and eligible students are required to complete the examination fee payment and registration within the prescribed schedule.
Students admitted to MD Unani courses by KNRUHS during the academic year 2023-24 and earlier batches, whose admissions have been approved by the University, are eligible to appear for the November 2026 examinations. Candidates must have completed the required study period and secured 75% attendance separately in theory and practicals in each subject, subject to the applicable course regulations. Previous-batch students who have failed, were detained or did not register for the examinations conducted earlier may also appear, subject to eligibility conditions.
The cut-off date for calculating attendance percentage is October 12, 2026. Colleges can upload the attendance and internal assessment marks from October 16 to October 19, 2026, while confirmation of the uploaded attendance and internal assessment marks will be completed on October 21, 2026.
KNRUHS has also informed candidates that the University is implementing digital valuation for its courses. For the MD Unani examination, candidates will receive only one answer booklet containing a candidate-specific barcode on each page. No additional answer booklet will be provided, and candidates must answer all questions in the single answer booklet issued to them.
The examination fee for regular MD Unani Part I candidates is INR 4,000. For backlog students, the examination fee is INR 1,000 per subject. Candidates also have to pay INR 300 for the marks memo and INR 350 as processing fee. No processing fee will be charged to backlog students.
The examination fee can be paid online through the designated TCS iON examination portal. The payment window will remain active from October 26 to November 6, 2026. Candidates paying the fee between October 26 and October 30 will not have to pay a fine. Payments made from October 31 to November 2 will attract a fine of INR 200, while payments from November 3 to November 6 will attract an additional INR 5,000 fine, along with the earlier INR 200 fine.

The MD Unani Part I theory examinations will be conducted from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on the scheduled dates. Candidates must report at the examination centre by 9:00 AM.

The Practical/Clinical Examinations are scheduled to commence from November 25, 2026. Candidates should follow the instructions issued by KNRUHS and their respective colleges regarding the practical examination schedule.
Candidates are advised to complete the registration and fee payment within the prescribed dates and retain the payment confirmation for future reference. They should also report to their examination centres by 9:00 AM on the theory examination dates and carry the documents required by their college/university.
