The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Mumbai has revised the final date for admission to B.Arch and M.Arch professional courses under Technical Education for the academic year 2026-27.

The decision has been taken in accordance with the revised circular issued by the Council of Architecture (COA), New Delhi, dated September 11, 2026. The Maharashtra CET Cell has accordingly extended the previously announced admission deadline.

B.Arch, M.Arch Admission 2026: Revised Last Date

The earlier final admission date for B.Arch and M.Arch courses was September 15, 2026.

As per the revised schedule, the new final admission deadline is:

September 30, 2026

The CET Cell has clarified that September 30, 2026 will be treated as the final cut-off date for all types of admissions, including admissions through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) as well as institutional-level admission rounds.

The official Maharashtra CET Cell website has listed the B.Arch and M.Arch circular under its 2026-27 notices.

Candidates Must Complete Admission Formalities by September 30

Candidates participating in the ongoing CAP rounds or institutional-level vacant-seat admission process must ensure that all admission-related formalities are completed within the revised deadline.

This includes:

• Completing the admission process
• Paying the applicable admission fees
• Completing required portal/system reporting
• Completing all other admission formalities prescribed by the CET Cell or concerned institution

All such activities must be completed on or before September 30, 2026.

No Admission After the Cut-Off Date

The CET Cell has clearly stated that admissions completed after the revised final deadline will not be considered valid under any circumstances.

Therefore, students, parents and concerned institutions are advised to take note of the revised cut-off date and ensure that the complete admission process is finished within the prescribed period.

CAP and Institutional-Level Admissions Covered

The revised deadline applies to admissions conducted through:

• Centralised Admission Process (CAP)
• Institutional-level admission rounds
• Other applicable admission processes for B.Arch and M.Arch courses
